Questions on Predictive Diagnosis Cloud

Hello! I am new the Pega Predictive Diagnostic Cloud and have a couple questions.

I just added a Pega 7.1.8 application the PDC. This was reporting to AES, so I updated the prlogging.xml file to remove the AES endpoints. I set the PDC link and the application showed up on the PDC. Once this app is on the PDC, I have a couple questions.

1. The Production level is showing as 0. Do I need a HFIX for Pega718?

2. When I click on the system to display the system details, the hash value for node displays. Is there a way to display the node short description?

Hi,

Could you please check whether HFix-26497 exist in your environment, If not request GCS for the hot fix to try.

It is recommended to install HFix-26497.
​This hotfix is for issue related to Production level is not being saved.

Production level is only sent to PDC or AES during system startup. Was system restarted since you pointed it to PDC?

Be aware that starting with 717, custom prlogging.xml files are discouraged. PDC Integaration was baked into the core platform using "dynamic appenders". You can go back to the xml files that ship with the platform and integrate to PDC using the landing page at systems / settings / pega diagnostic cloud.  The PDC landing page also works with AES. Platform 722+ have a "test connection" feature on the landing page.

Hello!  I was able to download and install HFIX-26497 as suggested.  HFIX-24907 was also installed. After the HFIX install, I did restart the system.  It is still not displaying the Production Level in the PDC.  Perhaps I'm missing additional rulesets on my Pega 7.1.8 system.  If I go to the Usage Viewer, I get a message stating that I'm not running the latest PegaAESRemote ruleset. It takes me to this URL, https://community.pega.com/knowledgebase/hotfixes-support-latest-pega-predictive-diagnostic-cloud-features.  However, no rulesets are listed for Pega 7.1.8.
