Questions about node level data pages
Hello,
I have two questions about data pages, especially about node level data pages.
- Does a node level data page gets loaded even nobody calls that data page ?
- Let's assume that we have a node level data page whose size is 10 mb in JVM memory. User A requested that data page and we have 10 mb more in memory. Even if user B requests the same data page, we do not have 10 mb more in memory. Is that right ?

Node level data pages will be loaded/created only once during the first reference to the property by any user on the node. Once this data page is built on node 1, it will not be created unless the node is restarted or the data page is flushed by the administrator or any other operator in the designer studio.
So, once the data page was built on a node it occupies the same memory (only 10MB) no matter how many times it is referenced by users on the same node.

I think pxFlushDataPage is a section used to flush Data Page by passing the Data page as parameter. Yes, you can use this for a node-level data page also.

Usually we will use node level data pages that won't change so frequently and will be accessible for every. Calling flush on node level data pages may not be a good practice though.
