Property value is empty through RD and Obj-browse and available on the case
Property X value is availbale on the case and property exposed 2 years back.
Property X value is empty for few cases in report definition and able to fetch value for other cases for the same X property.
Values is available on all the cases. ex: after X Property exposed, we have new 100 cases, able to see data for 40 and empty for 60 cases for the same property.
Can help me to look into this.

Check difference between cases having property x data and cases which is not having property x data, see in what stage the property x value is set in case lifecycle.
If property x is present in clipboard and not set in db then check if there is any trigger is there to manipulate data.
If data you are not seeing for very very old case before property x was exposed then run utility to open the car and save it so exposed column populates from blob.

Thanks for the reply, value is setting for the property only in one scenario, not everytime.
it is fine in non-prod, I have seen the behaviour both resolved cases, able to fetch value for one and not able for another.
This is workpage not page property, can we add in external mapping?

If property is flat property then no need to add in external mapping, external mapping is only for embeded single page property exposed in db where we map embeded page property with db column name.
I have not understood the issue well , if it can be documented with screenshots then it might help understand the exact issue.

It is flat property.
Got the issue. RD fetching values from the date property exposed, issue with old data.
