Constellation architecture designed in that way only, only fields visible in UI those data alone will be getting pushed to DB in a patch call. If you want to update some values which is not visible in UI, then please use the flow action post data transform and write your logic.

@SravyaB16761150 In Constellation, the client and server exchange only the fields that are part of the view, so if a property is not in the view payload it can get dropped on the next refresh even if you set it in a Data Transform. Make sure IsAppealOrGrievance is a real property on the case class and is added to the Case Data Model (so it’s a persisted case field, not a “temporary” value). Then include it in the view as a hidden/read-only field (for example add it to the view and control visibility with a when that always returns false), so Constellation keeps sending/receiving it. Also confirm your Data Transform is updating the Primary page (pyWorkPage) and not a local/temp page. If you set it during submit, put the logic in the action’s post-processing (or a flow step that runs before the assignment is saved) so it’s written before the case is committed. After that, you should see the value consistently on the clipboard and it will persist even when the UI doesn’t display it
