Property Data type Conversion from Date to Date Time in Report Definition
I have the scenario to convert a value of a property of data type Date to DateTime in Report definition. Can I please know how can we convert this in Report definition. And, Please provide the steps to follow if possible.
I tried to use function alias, which didn't work.

Hello Roja,
I am not clear of the requirement. So what you mean is you want to display the date as date with a time stamp as well when used in Report Definition.
I believe it would not serve any purpose since the time stamp would not be captured in plain date format.
Atmost it may append the date with zeroes. I am not sure if this can be achieved but you can use the gear icon next to the column and select column format as Date time.

Thanks for the Response. My usage of having the Date time in the Report definition is- I have a list of records to be filtered. My report definition contains few columns with date, date time properties. I wish to filter with the columns for a particular date. Here, my issue is the filter is not working for the columns of the properties of type date, and is working fine for the Date time property columns.
I have realized that both the columns with properties of type date and date time hold the datatype in DB as the time stamp. So, the filter is working fine for Datetime type properties but, not working fine for the Date properties because of the miss match of the datatype between Pega property and DB.
So, to achieve this filter criteria, I wish to convert the date to date time in the report definition itself. I have tried with gear icon next to column and convert date to date time, but it didn't work.
Is there any other way to achieve this?
