I'm testing Deployment Manager 4 on Pega 8.1 and trying to build a simple pipeline consisting only of a dev environment. Deployment manager is installed on the same machine as well.
I can create a pipeline but when diagnosing it, the error is shown that the product rule is not available. The same happens when trying to start the pipeline. However, the product rule with correct name and version is there and available in the system.
I cannot find any specific error in log files.
What am I missing? How can I debug and correct this?
Miloslaw, could you please verify that your user has available the ruleset containing that product rule?
Probably this is a no brainer if the new application wizard created your app (and thus that product rule), but if you created the product rule by hand this might not be the case, and you might need to update your app.

Yes, everything regarding rulesets, access groups etc. is fine.
For whatever magical reason, after entering the product rule name explicitly (although it was exactly the same as recognized automatically) it worked. I cannot understand this, but at least I can test further...
