Prerequisite error when creating Report definition

Are you using branches for these reports and is pzInsKey the local name for the subreport column?

I presume you performed the configuration for the sub-report, right?
I saw that the sub-report is in an index class. Did you try to join using the "Declarative index joins" option?

Do you know if there is any sample Report definition which use sub-report?
because I wonder if it might be good performance to use sub-report to extract data...

You can check the "pyOperatorsByWorkGroupForWidget" OOTB report definition which uses Sub-Report.

This is a link to an archived article about when and how to use sub-reports:
The UI may have change, depending on the version you are on,changed, but I believe the steps to configure still apply. Please review it and make sure you are referencing the sub-report column in your main report correctly. I'm not sure that referring to the "Column source" (.pzInsKey) is correct here. According to this article you should have defined aliases for the sub-report columns, and the main report should reference AppCnt.<Column name alias>.
