We have upgraded our application from pega 7.2.2 to Pega 8.1.1 and since we are also leveraging customer service & Sales automation application, we ran pre-upgrade checker tool to identify the number of rules which were overridden in custom rulesets. We observed certain rules are not appearing in the result even though they have been modified in v8.1 and the same has been customized as well in our ruleset. one example of such rule is CPMLoadInteraction in Pega-CA-Work-Interaction class.
Any specific reason why this rule got missed out?

Do we need to run Pre-Upgrade Checker in the Pega version that we are planning to upgrade or is it something we need to run in the upgraded Pega version. We are doing an upgrade from pega customer service 7.2.2 to Pega 8.2.1. Is this a script that will run in Pega 7.2.2 and tell me all the rules that are to be fixed in 7.2.2 before migrating them to Pega 8.2.1 environment? Or is that a script that i will need to run after moving my Pega 7.2.2 application rules to 8.2.1 environment. Appreciate clarification on this at the earliest.
I hope attached screenshot given in upgrade guide will help you. Pre-Upgrade checker gives you the report about the OOTB rules you have customized in your application and should be saved from the latest version.
