Post upgrade Data Migration
We are doing a upgrade from 7.1.8 to 8.2.3. Plan is to clone the existing environment and make a new system. Then do the inplace upgrade and make the system stable and test the system, once the new system is certified, then take the delta data from the existing system and load to the new environment. We were told to check the feasibility of loading the delta data.
Is there any pega provided utility to migrate the delta data from old environment to the new environment

Hi,
Hope you are doing it in a lower environment before moving to production. Will it really take one week to upgrade. I think it will not take that much time. If it takes 8-10 hours then you can do it during pre-defined shutdown window, Users will directly use the upgraded system.

When you clone 7.1.8 environment & upgrade to 8.2.3. Wouldn't it contain delta data? As you are upgrading an environment which already contains application data.

While the Upgrade happening in cloned system, production users will continue to use the existing system. once the upgrade is done (may be after 1 week) we need to migrate the delta data from current system to the new system and direct users to use the new system.
So looking for to check whether this is something Pega supports or any utility available
