Populate a drop down using data page as source
I need to populate a drop down using data page as source . I have sourced the data page with an activity , on running the data page I am getting the values in a Page list.How can I use these values in property(Control-Dropdown),source as data page?

One staright approach would be
The data page should be of type "List"( instead of type "page") and copy the values from Tempcntry.pxResults to Datapage directly No need to create another property AllCountryList. No need to change section configuration here.
another approach(Not Sure of this) is keeping data page,property as is and you have to make following changes to ur seciton
1.mention D_CountryData.AllCountryList in the pages classes tab of the section
2.And refer D_CountryData.AllCountryList as source of the dropdown.
Please try the above two approaches and let me know if you have any issues.

Thanks for your reply.
I tried the first approach but I am not able to copy values from Tempcntry.pxResults to page(D_CountryData).It's throwing error "Invalid expression or reference: The Left hand side of a Property-Set cannot be a constant value".So,I copied the values to D_CountryData.AllCountryList.Even though drop down values are not populating.
Second approach is not working.

Hi,
I have found out an OOTB example you can follow. See attahed Data Page and Section.
D_PositionValues is a 'List' type of Data Page with 'Activity' as the Data source. (this is the same as your use case).
pyActionApi Section has a Dropdown, 'Position'. Data Page, 'D_PositionValues', is its List source.
You just need to follow this example and you shold be ok.
