Please let me know is there any function to give spaces with in a String (Word), to display in Report definition coloumn
Hi All,
Need some help, pls let me know is there any function to give spaces with in a String (Word), for example 'GotoSchool' should be displayed as "Go to School" in the report in a report defintion column data value

You can use SQL function to add formatting to add your report column but firstly you need have the logic on what basis you want to introduce space in the string. As per your example, you are trying to break the word in the meaningful words but will that always be the case with your requirement?

@PrakashDeep Hi Prakash, thank you for your reply. We are trying to fetch data value of column from class name, for this we used SUB STRING function in Where clause and getting data value as expected.
For Instance class name WB-WORK-GoToSchool, using substring from 8th position we are displaying GoToSchool with in the column.
Now, That 'GoToSchool' should display as 'Go To School' - For this we have DECODE function in Sql, may i know in Pega any funciton is there.
I've tried using DisplayText and Advanced Text option on click gear icon in last of the row. But could'nt able get the expected value.

How about using class label instead of class name? So we should be maintaining the class label with space between the words. With this you may no need to use additional function except substring 😉

@RameshBattini thankyou for the response, verified label names for those classes by doing save as, in label name also there are no spaces for the last value.
also verified pylabel by view xml option, it is same.

@SuryaYanamandra We can update the existing class labels easily like below

And it is important to maintain the next creating class labels neatly at least when we have this type of requirements :)

@RameshBattini yeah thankyou, Ramesh. . But I am not sure whether we edit class labels within our application, hope there will be no Impact. . I will check with team. .Looking for any function we can do by.

@SuryaYanamandraYou can create a Field Value rule which translates to the configured text.
- Create the rule in the same class of RD
- Which translates from "GoToSchool" to "Go To School"
P.S: This will work on UI, but pls verify the behavior when "Exporting the results to Excel".
