Can you explain the whole scenario? Are you creating a temporary case before using persist?
Can you please elaborate the issue you are facing?
@Satya K In Pega 24.2, if you're using the "Persist Case" automation shape and getting a generic error like "An error occurred, please contact the system administrator," it usually means there’s a configuration or data issue. First, check that the case type you’re trying to persist is correctly defined and available in the application context. Ensure that all required properties for the case type are populated before the shape is executed. Also, verify that the case type has a valid starting process and is not locked or restricted by access roles. Review the tracer or logs (such as PegaRULES log) to identify the exact error message behind the generic UI message. Finally, make sure the Persist Case shape is used in the correct context, as it might not work properly in background processing or if case dependency settings are misconfigured.
