Performance Testing on Robot Manager
We are in the process of setting up a Robot Manager environment and are required to do some performance testing on the Pega Database before going live to Production.
My question is if there is a built-in functionality in Robot Manager that stress tests the database and servers by uploading large amounts of test data so we can monitor and analyze it's effect on the database and servers. Our alternative solution is to use RPAs to do the data dump but we were hoping there may be another solution.

@AndrewL7373 Hello Andrew, I am not aware of any particular stress testing methods with Robot Manager, but there are ways to artificially simulate stress testing depending on which type of robotic solution you are deploying for example, you could submit quite a few requests and decrease the max amount of cases a robot can process before it's status changes, just to see how the robot will handle it. Based on my experience, usually in this case the robot will change colors from a healthy to unhealthy status until it has processed all of the cases, or remain red if it encounters an error processing one of the cases. Pega has inbuilt mechanisam to capture all the transactions and gauge them against Pega's OOTB KPI's. Here is the list of those Health and Security Alerts, you can find a specific category for Robot Manager Alerts as well:
If you have already PDC [Free SaaS Solution on PegaCLOUD for On-Prem and PegaCLOUD Customers] or AES [OnPrem] setup, you can be able to view the different alerts/exceptions during the load test and also the after the load test.
In case you dont have the Monitoring set up yet, you can manually read the same information from your Pega ALERT log. There are other tools there as well for deep diving on the stress test.
