Pega's support after support withdrawal of IE
Dear support team
I would like to ask how your company support after support withdrawal of IE by Microsoft.
Our client is using Pega Robotics product version- 8.0 SP1(8.0.2003.0) and Pega platform -7.4 operating on IE and our client is not planning to change IE because of thier company's system.
Therefore, I would like to ask how your company support Pega Robotics product version- 8.0 SP1(8.0.2003.0) operating on IE after June, 2022.

We are aware that many of our clients continue to work with applications that are outside of their official 'end of life' policy. Therefore we rarely drop support of existing functionality. We have no plans to drop support of IE.
Please keep in mind though, that we will be releasing a new version of Robot Studio + Runtime called v21. We only support the current major version + the previous major version. On or around the summer of 2022, we will drop support of v8.0 SP1 and require clients to upgrade to either Robot Studio v19 or v21.
I would recommend that your client begin planning a migration to a newer Robotic Automation version.

Is Pega going to support ver.19 or 21 operating on IE after Microsoft's support of IE in June,2022?
In addtion, can ver19 or 21 operate on Pega Platform Ver7.4?

For your first question, are you asking if Pega Platform applications will run in IE after June, 2022?
For your second question, Pega Robot Studio/Runtime v19 works with Pega Platform v7.4 for attended desktop integration and with Robot Manager 6.2. However, these are very old versions. I would strongly urge your client to stay current and move to Platform 8.6 & RM 8.6 which are the current versions.
*** Editing my response to add some clarity
v21 will work with Robot Manager 8.6 & newer. It will not support the Pega Package Server. Instead, package management will be through Robot Manager and repositories tied to Pega Platform.

I mean, my first question is that ver 19 or 21 can operate on IE if our client change the version from v8.0SP1 to ver19 or 21.
Our client is using Pega Robotics Studio/Runtime Version 8.0 SP1(8.0.2003.0), Pega Platform Version 7.4 and Robot Manager Version 5.1 so they neet to upgrade these enviornment if they upgrade v8.0 SP1 to v19 or 21?

Both Robotic Automation versions 19 & 21 continue to automate IE through use of the web adapter.
Version 19 will work with Robot Manager 5.1.
Version 21 will not work with Robot Manager 5.1.
Please keep in mind that RM 5.1, which is based on Pega Platform v7.4 is a very old version of our product. I would definitely suggest an update to Pega Platform 8.6 & RM8.6.
