PegaDynamicAuthentication Authentication profile
Hi Team ,
can someone share the usage or references of authentication profile -
PegaDynamicAuthentication which is OOTB..
we need to do similar way in my application but i am unclear on how they are passing the password in above authentication profile .

It might feel a bit counterintuitive, but you can use the GRS syntax also in the password field in the Authentication Profile. At runtime make sure you have the password available on a (Data)page. A list of all GRS enabled fields and the exact syntax can be found at: https://docs-previous.pega.com/data-management-and-integration/86/fields-support-global-resource-settings-syntax#section-6
Fill it out in the masked password field.

we tried in the suggested way already but the problem is, when we use OOTB decryptPW() method it is not decrypting the password stored in pega correctly. Can you share any inputs on it ? Pega version is 8.6.1

@VIJAY1219, maybe you're having difficulties storing the password as cleartext on a page for later usage as GSR in the authentication profile? If that's the case then it could be related to the way you're currently encrypting and decrypting the password and not specific to Authentication Profile or GRS.
