PEGA0005 Alerts in Production
There is PEGA0005 alert in production for a report definition ,which is simple select query with 3 where clause.All the columns are exposed and indexing also done in the table .still its generating alert .what would be the next step to check.

Can you please check the value of below DSS or in Prconfig.xml file and let us know.
alerts/database/operationTimeThreshold
If it has default value 500, try increasing it accordingly and check logs.
Also, try to check with your DBA to execute EXPLAIN command for your query to check its performance.

Hello,
Please check how many records is the system fetching @ once, try pagination and reduce the number of records when fetching, rest pagination should handle.
other option :
Increase the TimeThreshold through DSS, checking the dependency on the application on the same node.

As stated above, the default threshold for 0005 alerts is 500 ms. This may not be excessive for a given query, depending on how many records are in the table. It depends on the expectation for the given query. Unfortunately, you cannot set specific thresholds for different reports.
Check the actual times for the query and determine if they actually are excessive. If you determine that they are, adn simple indexing is not sufficient, then you may need to implement a compound index involving multiple columns from the WHERE clauses.
