Pega unable to generate wsdl:fault ?
While importing a wsdl we are not able to see the complex type 'wsdl:fault', we can see that it exists in the wsdl itself but after importing it, it has not been generated.
According to the response on the post below, it has been added as a fix for PRPC 6.1 (Currently using PRPC 7.1.8)

That post is about generation of WSDL . Your post is about importing a WSDL . What do you mean by saying "after importing it, it has not been generated." ???

Hey I'm working with Jack,
when we use the connector wizard to consume the WSDL we don't see the faults anywhere when using the Wizard or after. so we don't know if there's another way to consume these faults that are mentioned in the WSDL or how Pega will handle these Faults that will be returned by the SOAP service.
we were thinking of creating the class and properties required and then altering the parse XML to populate this data when it is returned. but we're hoping we are missing something when consuming the WSDL.

Just posting a link which is completely out of context does not help. Please understand the context and then post. Where is it mentioned that they are facing any issue while importing the WSDL?

Hey we weren't having the same symptoms but tried the solution anyway. still facing the issues where the Faults aren't being consumed by pega.
we've tried creating a parse XML that will look at pySOAPFault but struggling with getting the parse XML to work. will create the page but not map any of the values. any help on how to implement this solution would also be helpful.

Hi Leigh,
If my understanding is correct, then the below link seems to have similar question posted on 2015 for lower version and no inputs were added from community. There also it states that there is solution in higher version from 6X. Please raise an SR so we can involve dedicated SME for this to find out the best approach.

Thanks for pointing it out. I have shared the link since it is having wsdl:fault elements and also confused with the statement "after importing it, it has not been generated."
