From Pega screen,excel is not opening from Sharepoint location
HI,
In our application, one of the functionality is user can download the sample Excel (XML Format) document from the share point folder. We implement in the way like, Provided the share point link in the application (Section onclick event - OpenURL in Window)so user can able to download the sample excel. But once the user upgraded their excel version to 2016 or to the latest version those share point excels are now opening in xml format. It is not happening with the older version of Excel.
We able to open .xml format Excel files directly from the share point site. But not in the Pega application. Please let us know is there any solution to resolve this issue.

Hi,
I assume, you are having a direct URL of sharepoint which you are using in Pega forms.
Can you create sample HTML and use the sharepoint URL reference to validate the issue? This will help us to eliminate if its Pega issue or browsers/excel behavior after your upgrade.

Thanks for the response.
From Pega i able to open the files like Word, Excel, Html etc. from SharePoint. But I could not able to open the excel file which is saved in XML Spreadsheet format. Previously this was working fine until upgrade.
