Use the Constellation Modernization Assistant to analyze, then generate a new Constellation application and migrate only the supported UI assets; expect to refactor legacy UI-Kit/Theme-Cosmos rules, data pages, DTs, and activities that won’t auto-migrate. For Sales Automation specifically, follow the SA migration overview and “create new Constellation app” flow, and set the ConstellationPegaStaticURL DSS for static content. Avoid migrating to the CDM-based SA app if you’re on 24.2 or earlier due to compatibility notes. In practice many teams upgrade to 8.25/23.1+, stand up a fresh SA Constellation app, migrate data/config in phases, and harden with targeted rebuilds.
