Pega RPA -OCR -Image Data Capture
We have a requirement to capture the image data from image by automation.We have to do POC and show it to the client.We are planning to use OCR functionality for this requirement.
Can you please provide the step by step process of how to integrate pega robotics with OCR.

I am looking for OCR and Pega Robotics Studio interrogation configuration details , when I download Pega Robotic Studio , it comes with Abbyy OCR Software, now how do you configure Abbyy OCR Software with Pega Robotic Studio so that both can talk each other.

I am asking configuration steps Abbyy OCR with Pega RPA. I did not find any document in PDN. How to install and configure Abbyy OCR Software so that it can talk to Pega Robotic Studio.

Hi,

Pega has already included OCR (Abby) features into its interrogated windows controls. If you go though the link I have given before, its mentioned that Abby Fine Reader handles the OCR for Pega Robotics. So all you have to do is interrogate a windows adapter (or browser frame for web adapter) and then invoke the GetValueByOcr, ClickByOcr methods in it [Abby integration will be handled internally]. The document provides more details on the methods and their parameters.
