Pega Robotics Studio Installation Issue

Hi ,

I'm installing Pega Robotics Studio version(8.0.2039), I have installed all the prereqs, restarted the system and ran the OpenSpanStudioVS2015Setup.exe , it gives me all the interfaces and I moved ahead with installation instructions, once it installs Pega Native Foundation it shows a pop message which auto cancels the installation wizard.

"Are you sure you want to cancel Pega Robotic Automation Studio Installation?" even though if i don't click "Cancel" button.

In the control panel I could see Pega Native Foundation installed with 10.0.18099.0.

 

I have tired downloading the package again, uninstall, reboot, ending with same result.

 

Any guidance would be helpful.

Hi Varun,

I would try to uninstall all the components listed as installed and then launch installation from command line with enabled logging. There is "Installing Robotic Automation Runtime from the command line" section in the installation guide with details of command line parameters.

Basically you need to execute this for Native Foundation:

msiexec.exe /qn /I NativeFoundationSetup.msi INSTALLPATH="C:\Program Files(x86)\OpenSpan\OpenSpan Runtime Enterprise" INSTALL_SERVICE=stopped /l*v InstallPNF.log

And this for Runtime itself:

OpenSpanRuntimeEntSetup.exe /qn+ INST_SERVICES=stopped /norestart /l*v InstallRuntime.log

Hopefully you will be able to find out the problem in the installation log after that.
