Pega Robot Manager - Connection to Server Failed
Hi,
We are trying to deploy packages from Studio to PackageServer. I've taken all the necessary steps
1. Installed Pega Platform 7.4 on Windows Server 2012
2. Installed Pega Robot Manager 6.2 on top of Pega Platform 7.4
3. Installed PackageServer and ServerStatus
4. Have sample RDA Project in Visual Studio + Plug-in setting on my local machine.
5. Made necessary changes to commonconfig.xml, runtimeconfig.xml & studioconfig.xml
6. Unchecked the SSL checkbox in api and robotics rules for servicepackage
I get the connection to server failed error when entering admin credentials in Pega Robotics -> Server Connectivity option. Went through the logs and it gives below exceptions.

Hi Nick, I changed my ruleset for PegaRoboticAutomationConsole to 02.01.01 and it worked. Pega 7.4 is compatible with Robot Manager 5.2 not 6.2 hence the change.

Please check where you have placed the config files.
ProgramData/OpenSpan folder
or
AppData/OpenaSpan folder
I suggest you place a copy of these files in both locations and try once.

Hi Gudip, Thanks for responding. I've attached the commonconfig.xml file. Im not aware of making changes to the location. Can you please share any steps it will be very helpful for me.

I still get the same error. I've attached the studio log. Both package server and robot activity are giving error.

I doubt, below might be reasons,
1) No access to the robot manager url from the current machine.
2) Dispatch operator (email id) in robot manager is disabled.
Please try logging in to pega robot manager using same credentials from the machine where you are trying with studio. This will give answers for above mentioned 2 doubts.

Hi,
I reached out to Pega Support and they told me to upgrade VS 2015 to SP-1. We had Non-SP1. Will get back here once i have SP-1 installed and working.
