Pega Personal Edition Installation hanged

Hello There!

Hope you are doing great!

I have downloaded and installed Pega Personal Edition on my laptop. While installation it is hanged on one step(cannot say exactly hanged or something else) its not proceeding further.

Stucked on Output/Errors page--

[exec] pg_restore: creating VIEW "rules.pwbv4_rule_locking"
[exec] pg_restore: processing item 489 VIEW pwbv4_rule_overrides
[exec] pg_restore: creating VIEW "rules.pwbv4_rule_overrides"

Can anyone help me with this please?

As researched on PDN, I have most prominent cause for this could be due to the anti virus or firewall installed at your workstation. It is blocking the "pg_restore" file, so please try to install after deactivating the anti virus software and turning off the firewall. It worked for developers earlier. Note : Extract the downloaded Pega personal edition Zip file again and try install from that. Hope it helps, kindly notify by marking this post as answered for larger Pega audience and tracking purposes.
