Pega patch upgarde from 8.6.1 to 8.6.4
Hi Team,
Currently we are on 8.6.1. We are planning to apply the patch version to 8.6.4. Could you please let us know the exact documentation. We has the following infrastructure for 8.6.1.
DB details: DB2
Application Server: IBM Websphere
OS: Linux

We went through the documents, but couldn't find the concrete document which explains all the 8.6.4 patch upgrade steps in one place. Seems the things were scattered.
Our expectation from you is to provide the doc where it has the clear steps for the on-premise patch upgrade for the above infrastructure combination. For example consider the upgrade guide (https://docs-previous.pega.com/pega-platform-86-upgrade-guide-ibm-websphere-and-ibm-db2-linux-unix-and-windows) which it has the clear steps for the specific infrastructure. Could you please provide that?

The documentation team have compared the Patch Update with the Update Guide
They have informed me that there are application server or database preparation details in the update guides for any combination that do not apply to patching.
"The patching steps match the simple update steps outlined on page 190-20 of the Update Guide example provided and then are documented between pp 21 - 26."
The feedback from the documentation team is that there is no need to look at patching in terms of app server/DB details as the patching docs do not have such requirements; instead they are the steps generated by the patching script experience.
The patch instructions are sourced from the same content that the update guides use.
Could you elaborate on what you feel is missing from the Patching systems without downtime (for Pega Platform version 8.4 and later) Guide?
