Pega Mobile Build on HTTP Instance
What is the best way to build a Pega Mobile App when your instance is HTTP? I am running Pega 8.5 and am not sure if these directions: https://community.pega.com/knowledgebase/articles/building-mobile-app-locally are up to date. Also, if these directions are the best way to build an app on an HTTP Pega 8.5 instance, what am I supposed to do with the actual Pega Application? It does not seem to be mentioned in these instructions. This instance cannot be reliably set to HTTPS, so getting this functional in HTTP is essential.

Mobile apps would not be able to connect to your env over HTTP. It's required to have HTTPS enabled.

@Mateusz on a related note, what about the case where HTTPS can be/is enabled, but the Pega server and mobile device are only available on an internal secluded network that cannot access the Pega Mobile Build server? The question still stands, are the instructions linked in the post current and relevant for building mobile apps locally? And if so, how specifically does the Pega application get into the mobile build (as the instructions seem to focus on aesthetics/branding)?

@JonathanB9941Pega environment must be able to connect to the Mobile Build Server. Mobile app cannot be built locally within the secluded network.

@Mateusz Thanks for the prompt reply! It stinks that the local build capability has been deprecated since it must connect to the Mobile Build Server. The documentation referencing it made us believe that local app building was still possible with Pega Platform 8.5 and Pega Mobile 8. It looks like we'll have to come up with an appropriate solution to our issue.
