Pega Interview question

Hi ,

There is one property associated with work object(pyid's) already existing in DB with some null values ,

Now the requirement is  need to update some value for that property for million cases existing in application without having any performance issues??

What is the best way for approach.

@VenkataDileepA3593 You can use Data flow for this. Create a data flow and source it with Data set or report definitions to fetch the results and in the next add Data transform and set the required values there and then use the Destination as Data set to save the records.

Hi @VenkataDileepA3593,

I think u can achieve your requirement by using background processing 

You can use a job scheduler to open the work objects and queue that records for the queue processor. In Queue processor activity update the record and save it.
