Pega DSM training image as a dev machine for POC
A client of mine not currently on Pega wants to explore the possibility of starting off a Decisioning POC on a VM image. This would mean a development VM image connects to external systems and databases.
Hints are to use one of the many training or OOTB images. Using an image would remove the need for IT involvement and the teams would like to get to see something fast hence the idea.
I want to get your thoughts on anything (licence, external connection, available functionality, image reliability...) that could come in the way of taking this approach?

This rules out using the 'Training' Image because of licencing.
The question still is, would Pega allow the use of OOTB image on client's request for development purposes. Possibly with licencing fee arrangement and has that been done?
Chordiant VM Images were used to an extent for a large telco's distributing images to its operating companies and I am wondering whether a similar arrangement is around / can be made (with Pega) if a client choses this approach?
