Pega Co-Browse Onpremises installation
Hi,
I am trying to install Pega Co-Browse 7.22 Onpremises for POC purpose.So for tht I am installing the below softwares in a single machine:
Ubuntu 16.04
MongoDB 3.2.10
Redis 3.2
My questions are
1. If above mentioned version of MongoDB & Redis can be an issue as it is given in Installation guide- MongoDB 3.2.9 & Redis 3.2.4 should be installed.
2. I am installing NVM 1.1.1 to install Node & NPM. Are we good?
3. How should we extract the content of the tar archive package. should we use tar -xvf myfile.tar command
4. As this is just for POC to make our hand dirty on co-browsing, do you think we might need to upgrade RAM/Disk Space. Currently RAM= 4 GB & Free Disk space=150GB

It worked fine with Ubuntu 16.04 LTS.

- Mongo 3.2.10 and Redis 3.2.4 should be fine. Patch version difference donot impact products.
- Providing suggestions on NVM is out of scope for our product. The Node and NPM versions must be as mentioned in the installation guide.
- Providing suggestions on the extraction command is out of scope for our product.
- We have not tested on such low RAMs. Please use the suggested setup.

Thanks for your reply. I have another query.
Can I use Ubuntu 16.10 on kernel version 4.8.0-52 -generic which is different from the suggested kernel version 3.16.0-31-generic?
So will it cause any impact on co-browse server.

We have not tested on that version of the Linux. If things install fine it will most likely work fine. But I cannot give a definitive answer.
