Pega Audience Simulation Does not show any count / percentage
Hello,
I have been trying to create different simulations for having understanding. In order to do so I created one distribution simulation and now trying to use that in Audience simulation test from engagement policy of NBAD(using pega personal edition cdh 8.5). Although the audience simulation runs without any error, the corresponding count/percentage for funnel filtration are not getting shown.
Please note, when I ran distribution simulation, the drill down report is showing everything fine.
Is there any mistake that I have been doing. I do not see anything in the log; but one error line in the tracer.
Please guide.

@Ankita.Ghosh where did you create that simulation, in NBAD?
Can you describe each step, I am unsure where you started from :-)

@BURTA I started with creating a simulation from customer decision hub portal->Simulations->create.(ref-SimulationLandingPage.PNG)
After creating it , I ran that using the Submit and run button. The simulation ran successfully and created the reports(ref-SimulationRun.PNG, SimulationRunSampleReport.PNG )
Then I navigated to NBAD->Engagement->Actions->Audience simulation. When selection of the simulation was to make, I chose the simulation I created.(ref-SimulationBeingUsed.PNG)
Then the run got complete in there but after the run, the customer count did not got updated engagement policy state wise.(ref-NBADEngagementTab.PNG)
To understand I checked the infrastructure of DDS, Adaptive data node, stream node etc- all are normal. Logs were clean. in the UI inspector I saw where the count needs to be updated, property being referred over there is pxLabel which was going blank in tracer for each metric(ref-ForEachMetricpxLAbelComingBlank.PNG). There were no errors in tracer also except one (ref-Error_pxCanDisableSimulations_line12.PNG).
Not sure if I am missing anything.

The error on the pxCanDisableSimulations activity is misleading; it should not impact the audience simulation counts.
The activity tries to validate the use of simulation data set populated using the data migration pipeline. The error is telling us that data migration hasn't been configured on your system; and that is fine. It is not mandatory to be configured.
So, the problem lies somewhere else.

@Ankita.Ghosh Hey Ankita, great, understanding better.
So you have run a simulation via the simulation testing landing page, then you went to NBAD and reference the same simulation run results. It is not run again.
Just to eliminate any other issue, can you create the simulation from NBAD directly with the same audience and run. Whilst it is running can you navigate to the simulation testing landing page and open the simulation, there will be a more details link. Can you post that screenshot?

@BURTA I did the same , please refer to the document attached.
I see 2 things:
1) I navigated to simulation landing page . Opened the simulation. Clicked the "More" link. Although the run was complete, but the input records were all 0. I am not getting why the counts are not getting updated when the run was just fine ?
2)When I navigated back to NBAD landing page, some of the counts updated but not all. Any idea why so?
Again there is nothing in log.

@Ankita.Ghosh Ok, that confirms, I think that there is a bug in 8.5 that was fixed in 8.5.2. Can you try this on 8.5.2?
@gongr this is the bug that platform fixed to return simulation metrics?

@BURTA Yes, indeed the bug is fixed in 8.5.2.
@Ankita.Ghosh the processed records should show the correct results, the issue is with component statistics details all showing 0. Please try on 8.5.2

@gongr Ok. Can you tell me how to update from 8.5.1 to 8.5.2 in personal edition pega cdh? Any links or documents associated to the same will be very helpful.

@Ankita.Ghosh 8.6 is now released, so for the personal version please download 8.6 as described in the below document. Make sure to export your work as described in the "Uninstalling the Personal Edition" section of the below document before installing the latest.

Hi @gongr,
I'm facing the same issue in 8.7. I ran a DF and referred to the output Data Set as a source in the Audience Simulation. I'm getting empty results just like @Ankita.Ghosh got in the beginning.
Note: DF executes and gives results as expected.
