PEGA and Macro Interactions

Does PEGA 5.4 SP 2 and / or PEGA 7.1 interface directly with macros? We are looking to purchase a thrid party application that has the interfaces for HHLAPI API, Macro API and Object API and I wanted to know if PEGA can interact with any of these API's. Thanks
