Pega 7 Mobile App to Access an Application
Hey -
I want to build a simple portal which can be accessed from Peg 7 Mobile app. i am not sure to get started in Pega 7.3.0 Version.
My requirement is just to have simple worklist and work basket for the user thats all.
Questions:-
1. Do we need to include the mobile rulesets in-app hierarchy or it comes in pega 7.3.0 by default
2. I am not seeing the Mobile tab in the Application rule, how can I enable this option?
3. I know there are some courses in pdn, but I am not getting the clarity how we can get started?
4. Do we need to create a new application for the user or existing application can be used?
Could anyone help me like how I can get started

Hello,
For 1 and 4: Its not required to add mobile ruleset. You need enable the checkbox Enable offline support in access group and case.

I just wanted to add that enabling offline is not a requirement for using the mobile app. It is possible to use your application online-only. You only need to enable offline if you wish for your application to work without a reliable network connection. Offline support does however require a mobile application. If your mobile application will always be used where there is a reliable network connection, you may opt to not enable offline.

You can use the existing application as is as long as you're HTML 5 compliant. The screens are responsive and adjust themselves on different form factors. It is *not* required to enable 'offline support' to get the mobile app working.
