Is PDC supposed to capture all ERRORS from PegaRULES log file?
Event Viewer in PDC does capture information from Alert log and also exceptions from the Rules log, these are summarized as cases which is fine.
I am trying to understand whether PDC is supposed to capture ERRORs logged in Rules log, i have seen instances where in errors are not captured via events in PDC.

Data comes from agents and a sanitized version from the alert file. We don't pull in errors from the pegarules log.

Thanks, based of off your response It looks to me like Application Level Errors are not being captured and shown in PDC and aligns with the behavior am observing.
With that Said, How can we leverage PDC for efficient monitoring of the overall system instead of manually checking the logs? We have about 45 Production JVM's running for various needs and was looking to leverage PDC for rigorous log monitoring especially after each fresh code migration.

PDC receives alerts and exceptions. There's a PDCClient ruleset on marketplace to make it easy to send 'custom alerts' to PDC so PDC can do tracking and notification for things unique to your application.
We're working to make PDC better. As there are no restrictions on what a developer can write to PegaRules log file via log-message, we don't send that data to PDC because it could have business private data. Do you have specific events or data from PegaRules log file that you would want us to feed to PDC? We are looking at options to safely filter extracts from PegaRules for feeding PDC … tell more ...
