Password protecting an Excel file generated from Pega
I am looking for the approach to password protecting an excel file generated from Pega to be sent via email.
Is this possible? I know it can be done with .zip file but looking for the capability to do it for the excel file itself.

Hi Mozeg,
I could see that John has updated you in Mesh stating that this will probably work (using Apache POI) . Below page from the Apache POI docs gives some examples of encrypting EXCEL files with a password for a key:

I dont think out of the box it is supported.
May be you need to access APACHE POI thru custom java ( in activity ) and then design your own logic.

org.apache.poi.xssf.usermodel.XSSFWorkbook workbook = new org.apache.poi.xssf.usermodel.XSSFWorkbook();
