Part of log contents in PegaRULES.log are lost

Hi,

I just found out that older part of log contents in PegaRULES.log are lost. For example, if I clear PegaRULES.log file (I mean, delete file from the file system) and simply start up Pega Platform, it should capture entire start up log in the PegaRULES.log file, right?

However I see log starts from the middle and the initial hundreds of lines are gone. I know log rotates every day but this is different from daily rotation. Am I missing, or are there any settings to keep entire log contents?

describes some of the ways you can configure the loggers.

You should be able to capture the initial startup info in the logs.

Make sure in a multi node system they are not writing over each others logs.
