Page refresh/reload strategy not clear to me
Hello,
I do not undestand the data page refresh/reload strategy.
See the following example: a data page holds customer information and has the Reload if Older Than field set to 30 minutes. The data page is created at 6:43. The user refreshes customer information at 7:10 and then at 7:45.
How come the date page is reloaded at 7:40 and not at 7:45?
At 7:10 the data page hasn't a status set to "stale" yet. So the data page does not reload, does it ?
The page reloads at 7:10 since the user accessed it at 7:10, is that correct? But in that case why doesn't the page reload on the second user's access at 7:45?
This is totally unclear to me.

Your understanding of the data page being stale is correct. In your example, the data page would be marked as stale at 7:13 and reloaded only once at 7:45.
- Access at 7:10 - no reload is happening as the data page is not yet marked as stale (which would happen at 7:13).
- Stale doesn't mean Pega reloads the data page automatically - think of it as a simple flag.
- Access at 7:45 - a reload happens as 62 minutes have passed and the data page is now stale.
