Refresh strategies: "Reload If older Than"

Hello folks, 

I am preparing for the CSA exam and would like to discuss the topic regarding the "Reload if older Than" and more specifically this question

I am wondering here, what does it mean "The data page is marked stale one hour after creation"?

When the data page creation is happening? Is it when we first access the page?

 

From the academy we have  

So, if a data page with a Reload if older than interval of 10 minutes is first accessed at 1200 (12:00 PM), the page is considered stale at 1210 (12:10 PM). Pega Platform then updates the contents of the page when a user accesses the stale page, which may not occur until 1300 (1:00 PM). 

 

Can we say that when the page is first accessed at 1200 (12:00 PM) that also mean that at this time the data page was created?

Hi @BozhidarM4529 ,

Data page creation happens when the page is loaded into the clipboard.

So to answer your question "The data page is marked stale one hour after creation"?

If you set the time as 1 hour, the data page will become stale after 1 hr of it is first loading.

To answer you next question "Can we say that when the page is first accessed at 1200 (12:00 PM) that also mean that at this time the data page was created?"

Yes you can say that
