I think you'd want to use a detailed Pega trace to start getting more specific information about what's going on.

Ive noticed a lot of unhelpful replies on the PDN so Im just going to pick on this one.
I am having this problem as well as you can probably guess since I am at this thread. I have put hours in to solving a problem revolving around this error.
What exactly is a detailed Pega trace?
What "more specific" information should I be looking for?
Is there perhaps a common cause for this problem that may provide a starting location to look?
People, please, when you answer questions, remember the following; The person asking is probably on the less experienced side and has most likely tried everything that we can think of. Giving broad statements like "trace it and get info" doesnt help.

Hi John,
Thank you for posting your query in the PSC.
Unfortunate that you also are facing the same issue. The information shared by the members in the community tend to be question specific and mostly focused towards resolving that particular query. Another thing I noticed in successful engaging conversations is the clear and precise details shared by the users.
We do understand its again query specific, however, probing questions always seem to lead the conversations in the right path and right solutions. Additionally, we do consider this as a positive feedback point to better the conversations.
Here, this looks like an inactive post and hence, we suggest you create a new post for your query with a elaborate description and the community will be able to guide you better. Once created, please reply back here with the URL of the new post.
Thanks!

No part of his reply was question specific, nor did it give any focus towards resolving the query. I felt the details provided by the OP were sufficient to start. No follow up probing questions were asked regardless.
I want my frustration expressed here because Pega Help and the PDN are notorious for being unhelpful. Pega offers very little self learning andthe little bit that is offered isn't extremely helpful. A mod vaguely tell somebody to trace for more info without giving any kind of direction is almost like a slap in the face.

Would it be better to take this to private messages with the moderators?
Thanks.

One point of investigation is to see whether the target PageList property is present on the clipboard as a Single Value property while tracing.
In previous projects, I found that sometimes if I had incorrectly referenced a Page property, it would be populated in the clipboard as a single value property and would cause this error message when I tried to copy a Page into it.

Can somebody who has faced and resolved this issue, be kind enough to add some concrete information about how you investigated this issue and what is the solution.
Thanks a lot in advance.
