Operation is not allowed when Microsoft Excel is in 'Edit Mode'

Get cell value doesn't work as I get the error that operation is not allowed when excel is in edit mode. How to resolve this?

Is the excel open manually or getting opened from the automation itself?

I have tried similar stuff and was working fine for me. I have opened the excel and tried to get the value in the next step within the automation.
