openWorkByURL function -Replaces the current tab instead opening in new tab in pega 7.1.8
In the navigation rule, we have used 'run script' and calling an javascript function where 'openWorkByURL' function is used to call activity which has 'Show-Harness' method, to open harness in the new tab. This functionality was working fine in Pega 6.3.
After upgrade to Pega 7.1.8, when we click upon the menu item. The harness is replacing the current tab which was supposed to open in a new tab.
We have also replaced work area control to dynamic container. Is this something to do with dynamic container? Any suggestions to solve this issue..

please try re-configuring with 'Open URL in Window' calling either Work-.Open with pzInsKey parameter or Work-.GetByID with pyID as parameter.
- note: transactionID mis-match errors might/would occur because of this configuration which needs to be handled.
opening work in multiple windows might not be a good mobile user experience.

Thanks for your reply,
But the requirement is to open harness in a new tab, instead of new window. 'Open URL in Window' action makes harness to open in a window instead of tab. right?
And also the menu item does not correspond to particular work. Business functionality is to update multiple items present in that harness.
Please correct me, if my understanding is wrong.
