Open URL in Window is always opening a new Window in IE, but it replaces the existing window in Chrome with the same configuration

Hi,

We are calling Bulk processing OOTB activity "BulkProcessAssignments" on a dropdown control using Open URL in window configuration. Open URL in Window always opens a new pop window and if I change a value for drop down each time it creates a new window. In order not to create window every time I checked Replace History check box and given a value to Window Name. In chrome it is working fine as expected. But the same configuration is not working in IE11. we are using 7.2.1 version. Please find attached screenshots
