One requester for SOAP Service Execution

Hi

We have a SOAP service with service package pool as 60. SOAP service is taking less than a second to process a request. Due to concurrent processing, validation is getting failed in activity. We want to have the SOAP service to run the requests one after another.

If the service package pool set to 1, can we achieve this ?

Dear Srinivasu,

Yes, this may induce lot of performance issues. In addition, it would be good to understand & debug Concurrency issues.. the other way is to use Authenticated request.

Dear Naresh,

The service can process the request in faction of seconds. And the number of requests we receive also not high. So we think it can fix the issue without any performance issue.

What will happen to the other requests when one request is getting processed, will it wait or failed ?

Issue: We need to send mail to user when we receive request for the first time. This was handled by maintaining flag in activity. Due to concurrent processing, if we receive request at the same time two mails was getting triggered. Can you suggest is there any alternative for this ?
