OCR- ClickByOCR does not click on "Click Point"
Version 1087. I have "highlight" turned on, and the ClickByOCR method correctly identifies the Search word, correctly highlights it and puts the click point on the search word, but when the click is performed, it is clicked in a different location. Has anyone else faced this issue? Could it depend on menu bars? Window sizes? I have interrogated and used the outermost window/shell for the ClickByOCR method. I have also used the lowest level window. Note: traditional controls were not available for this application.

Hi, I wanted to say I was able to resolve my issue. It had to do with the window (shell) that I selected. It does not always work best with the outermost shell (and sometimes it does). If anyone else faces this issue, I would suggest trying different layers of the application shell.

I have not experienced the issue you described (where it is highlighting correctly but clicking elsewhere). I would suggest that you open an SR and record the SR number in this post as this would likely require some hands-on assistance to resolve.
