Not able to Pass clipboard reference to function
Hello All,
Recently we upgrade our application from Pega 6.2 SP2 to Pega 7.2.2 and we are facing problem in passing clipboard reference to a function. PLease find the below steps to reproduce
1. Create a section.
2. Include any button in the cell of any layout.
3. Navigate to the actions tab of the button properties.
4. Add action "RunScript".
5. Enter the required function name and pass the parameter and a parameter value which is the clipboard reference.
Hardcoded value is getting passed but Clipboard reference is not getting passed.

Can you attach a screen shot showing the button configuration?
I tried it on my system and was able to pass pyWorkPage.pyID as my parameter.

What error you are getting if you try to pass clipboard based value ?
Also can you share the exact syntax that you followed in the function ?

Hello Santanu,
We are not getting any error only problem is clipboard reference is not getting passed, if we pass some hardcode value its getting passed. And the problem is not with the function even if I am using Open Url in Window also and calling an activity I am not able to pass clipboard reference to the called activity. Attaching the screenshot of the function and corresponding configuration.
Note: It will be very helpful if we get the reply asap.

I see in the screen shot that you are trying to pass the value from .pzInsKey. Can you verify that it is using the page that you are expecting? What happens if you test by specifying the page name and property?
