Need a way to provide Kafka user credentials without clear text

In Pega kAFKA rule for Consumer / Producer configuration file - we need to provide the user credentials in clear text. Is there any alternative way of providing these details other than clear text.

@saishankerm In Pega Platform, when configuring a Kafka instance with SASL-based authentication using a username and password, you need to enter the login credentials in the Kafka configuration instance.

However, these credentials are not stored as clear text within the configuration.

Pega Platform encrypts sensitive information, such as authentication profile data, by using key information controlled by Pega Platform.

Encryption > Sensitive information in configuration data
