Need step by step procedure for configuring the Kafka to publish the data from the application
Hi All,
Can you describe the step by step procedure for configuring the Kafka to publish the data from the application?
Do we need any producer code and JAAS file configuration in Pega server as well?

If you are on 7.3 and later this would help. But you still need some more config if you want to have data flow's .

Hi Aravindmala/Samarendra,
We are trying to create the Kafka configuration instance by adding host name, port and truststore(.JKS file), but its throwing "Time out expired while fetching Topic Metadata".
We have placed Kerberos and keytab files in dev server and included their paths and principal name in Standalone.xml.
Still it couldnot work. Please help on this. Pls refer the attachement.
Note: We are using Kerberos authentication in our organization. we are using Pega 7.4 version

Hi Lakshmi,
Do you have any documentation / reference links to setup/add kerberos and key tab files on the dev server? And is the issue resolved?
