Need to open another app from pega mobile client app
Hi,
I wanted to open another app from existing app on a button click. I have configured the open mobile app as an action on the button click. I have given mobile app id of the existing mobile app. But it is not working as expected? Do we have any documentation for this action? I am not able to find this in PDN or Pega Help.
Please let me know if you can share documentation on this. Attaching the screenshot as well. Thanks in advance.

I am able to call the app with app id. It was not an issue with pega but with the custom app id.

Sharing some of the details I am aware of. Not sure how much these will be helpful.
1. Regarding Open Mobile Application action, if I understood correct it was not supported one year back. Not sure if it is supported now. Please see link below updated on 2019 March.
2. There are Pega Mobile Client's public API for accessing camera and contacts app etc...which can be used from Javascript. Please see comments by James in below link which has PDN links for how to access Media/Camera and accessing device contacts.

I haven't implemented these. Just sharing details I am aware of if it helps. Let's wait for more replies if somebody worked/implemented recently.

Thanks for responding back to my request. The above SR is for navigation menu action but the current option is not working on a button click action as well.
We have an option to open mobile application without a Javascript call in Pega 8.4.
