Need info on Applying Theme Cosmos For Implementation App on Pega CLM KYC

We are doing Fitment analysis of using Theme cosmos for our application. We use the CLM framework.

We came to know that the Theme Cosmos is not supported for the CLM Framework. We want to know from PEGA on the timeline for moving the CLM framework to cosmos.

Can we expect it in 8.7? Any timeline which you could provide? 

Is it recommended to try and use the theme cosmos even though the Framework is not compatible for Theme cosmos? 

We feel cosmos is good fit for us but as it is not supported we are not able to proceed. Please Provide some inputs on this.
