Need help in delegating a property
Hi,
I'm trying to delegate a property rule and have created a new version of a ruleset just for that.
I have added the privilege accordingly in the Administer role as required. I have given the class of the property as the access class in the role while specifying the privilege.
But I cant see the 'Delegate' option in the property's action drop down. ( I get it for Decision Table, but not for a property)

Could you please let me know if I have missed something ?

Hi Rashmi,
Property rules are not one of the rule types that can be delegated. What is the purpose for trying to delegate the property rule?

Hi Carissa,
I have a requirement where for each application type, user(administrator) should be able to configure/change the value of a property (drop down) as and when required.
We want to showcase the delegation functionality of Pega here. Tried with a decision table, the delegation works well with delegation, but the requirement is not met. I have given the apllication type in on column of the decision table and that configurable property as result in the results tab. But this would override the result if more than one row is changed.
Please let me know if you think of a way out for this problem.

If i understand your requirement correctly, You can try delegating Data type rules and source the dropdown from the data type.

Could you please elaborate on this solution ? When you say data type rules, do you mean the rules that belong to a data class ?
