Nav menu on case portal turns white/black when shrink the screen
Hello,
When I shrunk my browser screen down, the sidebar that was on the left of my portal became a toggle-able nav bar icon, which is fine. However, the whole format of the menu changes when you click on the icon. The original menu has a white and grey format (first picture) whereas the menu from the icon has a white/black unreadable format (second picture). I tried looking in the skin and in Live UI to find where this format is getting set but I can't find it. Any help is appreciated.

Found it. The problem was in the py-responsive-overrides css in the UI Kit.

From the description, I understand that you have restored down the browser. And doing this, has resulted the navigation menu to black out(into white blank space). Is my understanding correct?
From the provided screenshots, I see that you are using Manager portal. In OOTB, this navigation menu refers pyPortalNav rule(of UI Kit). This rule is referred in the pyCaseManager7 rule. pyCaseManager7 rule uses 'default to Application Skin' and applies to pyCaseManager7 harness. If UI Kit is not available, then the pyCaseManager rule is referred from Pega-EndUserUI Rule set.
I have used LiveUI to find this. Can you debug the section which contains the menu using LiveUI?
PS: My observation is from Pega 7.1.8.

That is correct, when minimizing the browser the navigation menu has white on top of a black background.
My version of Pega is 7.2.1, but still, when using LiveUI to find which sections are being displayed, the nav is pyPortal Nav of UI Kit which is referenced by pyCaseManager7 of UI kit (just as you said). I'm not sure what you mean by debugging, but if you wanted me to trace where the nav is being displayed then that is the nav's path.
