Multiple data schemas support
Hi All,
We would like to understand how to configure multiple data schemas for same rules schema/PRPC installation. How do we segregate so we each application can have its own assign tables in its own data schema?

Old pega v6 to v7 article which states having multiple data schemas is not possible, however wanted to understand if newer versions of pega allow it. Also let me know if such would not be supported in future, since multiple tenants infra is configured in OOTB tables in the data schema?

HI All,
Still looking for answers on this. Our understanding is Pega can have one Data Schema (where the prother, prassign tables are mapped), however pc_work table can be independently mapped for various case types to various database instances.
Looking for direction/help to completely isolate data schemas.

Can anybody from Pegasystems answer this post, I believe many folks like me and Hari and looking for concrete answers regarding the Data Isolation.
I am very disappointed to see many post related to this are marked duplicate by Pega with no conclusion/solution and closed. Even the answers are bluntly vague in those posts.

Multiple data schema from pega data is still not allowed but yes you can configure customer data schema in higher version of Pega. I have seen it since pega 7.4 onwards.
Can you please elaborate your use case little bit more?

Our use case is simple, we want to have a common rule base and different data schemas.
We plan to use different data schemas for different specialization applications those cater to different businesses. Maintain the common FW (&/Impln) layer so as to reuse the assets.

Hi Hari,
We have two nodes (2 JVMs) configured on a single server. On cluster level we have defined Pega rules and customer schema and on the JVM level we have defined the data schema. So our one JVM (node) is pointing to A data schema and second JVM (node) is pointing to other B data schema. It is working fine without any issues.
Just make sure to do schema specific changes/development from particular node.
